應用學習課程申請資格

於2024/25學年升讀中五的應屆中四同學。
此外，個別課程可供學校在中四級提早開辦，詳情有待公佈。 Students who will progress to Secondary 5 in the school year 2024/25.
Besides, some courses also allow schools to opt for early commencement at S4. Details will be announced in due course.


授課模式 Mode of Attendance:
模式一：
逢星期六上午或下午於明愛社區書院上課，每課3或4小時。
視乎個別課程規定，部份課堂須安排於暑期進行。

模式二：
由學校及明愛社區書院雙方商討協作安排，可選擇於平日或星期六上課。
個別課程規定，部份課堂須安排於暑假進行。
視乎課程有關設施及器材需要，課堂可靈活安排於學校及/ 或明愛社區書院進行。 Mode 1:
Classes will be held on Saturday morning or afternoon at the CICE premises. Every lesson will be 3 hours in duration.
Some lessons will be scheduled during summer holidays subject to the requirement of individual courses.

Mode 2:
Subject to the mutual agreement between schools and the CICE, classes can be conducted on weekdays or Saturdays.
Some lessons will be scheduled during the summer holidays.
Class venues can be flexibly arranged at the CICE premises or secondary school premises, subject to the facilities and equipment required for the course.


修業時數 Course Duration:
全期180小時，一般每課3或4小時，最低出席率要求為80%。
開課日期由2024年9月開始，並伸展至2025年12月(即中六上學期)完成。 ApL courses are of 180 hours in duration (3 hours per lesson), and the minimum attendance requirement is 80%.
Classes of 2024/26 cohort will commence in September 2024 (i.e. Secondary 5) and end in December 2025 (i.e. Secondary 6).


授課語言 Medium of Instruction:
中文/ 英文(視乎收生情況而定) Chinese / English (subject to enrolment situation)


網上申請 Application:
學生須於2024年2月23日至4月2日透過所屬中學向教育局申請。每位學生最多可申請報讀2個課程。

申請人須經明愛社區書院甄選，以評估其對報讀課程的興趣、性向和能力等。申請人須在2024年5月4至11日期間遞交網上申請表及完成面試／網上評估。申請結果將於2024年5月28日開始，分階段由教育局向中學公佈。 Applications should be made to the EDB from 23 February to 2 April 2024 through the secondary schools in which applicants are studying. Each student may take a maximum of two ApL courses.

Applicants will be selected according to their interests, aptitude, abilities etc. through an interview / online assessment. Applicants are required to submit online applications and complete relevant online interview/assessment from 4 May to 11 May 2024. The application result will be announced in stages by the EDB to schools, starting from 4 May 2024.
