應用學習課程 Applied Learning Programmes
序言 Introduction
明愛社區書院隸屬香港明愛的社區及高等教育服務。自2003年參與應用學習課程試點計劃至今，明愛一直透過舉辦不同應用學習課程，幫助學員學習相關的基礎理論和概念，發展入門技能、與職業相關的能力及共通能力。明愛社區書院亦開辦全日制及兼讀制應用教育文憑、兼讀制毅進文憑、長者健康及社區照顧高級文憑、中小學區本/ 校本課程、美容學專業培訓 ( 證書/ 文憑)、幼兒教育專業培訓課程、僱員再培訓局課程及其他短期課程。部分課程更可銜接聖方濟各大學及明愛白英奇專業學校，提供一條龍升學至碩士課程的全面升學及就業階梯。
Caritas Institute of Community Education (CICE) is affiliated with the Community & Higher Education Service of Caritas-Hong Kong. Since participating in the Applied Learning Course Pilot Scheme in 2003, Caritas has been offering various Applied Learning courses to help students learn relevant basic theories and concepts, develop entry-level skills, vocational-related abilities, and generic skills. Caritas Institute of Community Education (CICE) also offers Full-time and Part-time Diploma of Applied Education, Part-time Diploma Yi Jin, Higher Diploma in Health and Community Care for the Elderly, School-based After-School Learning and Support Programmes, Professional Training in Beauty (Certificates/Diplomas), Professional Training in Childhood Education, ERB Courses, and other short-term courses. Some courses can be articulated to Saint Francis University and Caritas Bianchi College of Careers, providing a comprehensive pathway for seamless academic progression leading to Master's Degree Programs and Career ladder.

Course Information
應用學習是高中課程中的一組選修科目，學生可以根據自己的興趣、志願和志向，選擇課程作為選修科目，課程特點如下：
資歷認可
由2018年香港中學文憑考試開始，學生的成績匯報細分為：「達標」、「達標並表現優異 (I)」和「達標並表現優異 (II)」。「達標並表現優異 (I)」的表現水平等同香港中學文憑考試甲類科目第三級，而「達標並表現優異 (II)」的表現水平等同第四級或以上。
Qualifications Recognition
Starting with the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination in 2018, students' results are subdivided into "Attended", "Attained with Distinction (I)" and "Attained with Distinction (II)". The performance level of “Attained and Distinction (I)” is equivalent to the level 3 of the HKDSE Category A, while “Attained and Distinction (II)” is equivalent to Level 4 or above.
