In order to achieve the learning objectives of OLE, a new recommendation for fine-tuning OLE was delivered in 2013, the time allocation of OLE was adjusted to 10 to 15% of the total lesson time. Schools are more flexibility to adjust the proportion of the curriculum time according to the needs of students ’development, so as to provide students with more space to gain experiences and achievements from competitions/activities outside schools, enable them to develop their abilities, unleash their potentials and continue to achieve a balanced development through the five areas of OLE
